I had a terrible interaction with Marianne today over some cheese…… let’s talk about cheesy… I’ve shopped at this Walmart many times, but this experience was disappointing. This location only had prepackaged cheese available. While Spanish is not my primary language, I understand enough to ask for what I need. I showed the first associate a pack of Land O Lakes white American cheese and politely asked for the same thing in yellow. She told me if it wasn’t there, then they didn’t have it. Since there seemed to be a language barrier, she went to get the team lead, Marianne. When Marianne approached me, she immediately spoke to me in Spanish with an attitude, which caught me off guard. I hadn’t given any indication that I preferred Spanish, and I felt she made an assumption based on my appearance. I politely let her know—in Spanish—that it’s not my primary language and asked her to speak English. She then raised her voice and said they don’t have yellow cheese prepackaged. I pointed out the block of cheese behind the counter that could be sliced the same way. Instead of trying to understand or assist, she argued, which made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. I explained that I simply wanted a half-pound sliced from the block, similar to the prepackaged option. Only then did she acknowledge the request, but responded with a snarky comment implying that I should have said that from the beginning. I stayed calm, confirmed my request, and allowed her to proceed. During this interaction, she came around the counter stocking items with AirPods in, then randomly stated her name was Marianne. Her name badge was turned around and partially covered, making it difficult for customers to identify her. When I mentioned I already knew her name, she became visibly irritated, removed her AirPod, tossed it into a box, and walked away while muttering under her breath. Overall, this experience felt unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. I came in with a simple request and was met with poor communication, assumptions, and attitude. Customer service, especially from leadership, should be respectful and solution-focused.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. While the staff at all the branches were very experienced in how they handled things, the customer service here was, unfortunately, extremely poor. However, the manager was a very pleasant person. (In case you are interested: I was here on May 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM.)

So far this is the most organized Walmart I’ve ever been to. Stocks are always full and employees are not lazy and approachable. We will be frequent here so let’s see if it changes over time.

Over the years, I’ve had numerous frustrating experiences shopping at Walmart, and each time I leave, I tell myself it will be the last. Unfortunately, this recent visit has solidified that sentiment—I genuinely hope I never have to return. The store’s operations are fundamentally flawed. Nearly everything is secured under lock and key, turning what should be a simple shopping trip into a scavenger hunt for an available associate. To make matters worse, at 9 PM on a Sunday, not a single traditional register was open—self-checkout was the only option. While this may be an acceptable solution for some, it creates unnecessary challenges for others, particularly disabled customers who may require more personalized assistance. To add to the disarray, the self-checkout experience itself was a debacle. I had to summon an associate for help just to complete my transaction. This, combined with the absence of staffed registers, exemplifies a shocking lack of consideration for customer needs. The overall atmosphere of the store did little to redeem the experience. The security guard stationed at the entrance was engrossed in his phone, entirely disengaged from his duties. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism reflects poorly on Walmart’s commitment to providing a welcoming and secure shopping environment. My experience was further marred by the curbside pickup process. Despite placing an order in advance, I found it nearly impossible to locate the designated pickup area due to inadequate signage. The lack of clear direction only added to my frustration. In summary, shopping at Walmart has become an exercise in inconvenience, inefficiency, and disappointment. This visit reinforced my decision to take my business elsewhere. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this store to anyone.

I usually have no problem at this store loved coming here but after I just experienced the worst customer service for no absolute reason I will not be coming back this one this young lady Vanessa was very for no reason just because I asked for some assistance she does not need to work here at all
