Many years and many Walmarts and the Pharmacist and the ladies working in the Pharmacy are at the top of the rare good, in this instance excellent, customer service received at any Walmart store. Great appreciation to these people for their excellent work and ethics amidst a very busy department. They deserve major recognition from the Walmart Company. Perhaps they could help the regional management make simple things better i.e. when the Lottery Machine is broken and the people at the store KNOW it's broken, put a sign on it so customers don't put money in the machine only to receive a prompt machine is out of order would you like a receipt to get a refund at customer service? Of course I would! i'm not giving money away to walmart and that is exactly what customers want is to go stand in the customer service line for 8 hours to get a refund for a lottery machine that was broken and no warning sign to customers and this has happened to me numerous times when i only came in to grab a few things or just to play the lottery only to have to stand in line because people working in the store were neglectful to do a simple thing like put a sign on the machine letting customers know instead of inconveniencing customers for long periods of wait time that was completely avoidable if people were on top of things, which they are, they just didn't bother to put a sign up.. so thank you to these outstanding employees in the pharmacy for demonstrating excellent customer service and hopefully that trend will spread throughout the store and other Walmart stores because the corporate trajectory of A.i. "uber" like customer service models may profit in the short term the corporate pocket books but in the long term it's customer service and employees like the pharmacy staff at this Walmart that shine bright like diamonds and the main reason Publix is now struggling because they are following the lead and even took customer service off the sign of their new store on west river in Tampa which now says just "service desk". so get the edge Walmart and make customer service your new cornerstone and let the Pharmacy folks guide you in the right direction. Thank you to the wonderful staff in the Pharmacy! you all shine bright like diamonds. I hope Walmart Corporation will give you all some kind of recognition for the excellent outstanding job and customer service representing the Walmart Corporation. Bendiciones!

Do NOT have your prescriptions sent here. Medications are frequently out of stock and at some point they stop sending reminders for when they are back in stock. And when you do call to follow up, you are met with very rude techs who treat you like a nuisance for even calling to get your medications filled. There are sometimes where I would have to go months on end without my medications because it’s not available here and I would ultimately have to go without them. The service here is lacking.

They actually answer the phones here, so they get 3 stars. It's a sad state of affairs for this industry that a basic requirement that all pharmacies are supposed to do, is the current bar, and most pharmacies in Tampa do not meet it. Below this is why they lose 2 stars. I booked a vaccine appointment for my wife online through my Walmart+. An already annoying situation as she was injured at work and required the vaccine through workers comp, but they wouldn't authorize it and tetanus has a time limit to get the vaccine. Walmart+ goes through normally, confirms the appointment and GoodRX price, $47. I tell her it's all set up so she can go straight from work. She gets there, the appointment is fine, and they want to charge her $62. So she points out the GoodRX voucher and the confirmation of the appointment (because you can set appointments up for other people so it went to her phone and email). Whoever she spoke to said "we don't accept GoodRX" but then the price suddenly dropped to $54, with "sometimes the prices on GoodRX are wrong". I've honestly never heard this before, but she was at 72 hours and needed it so paid it anyway. Might only be $7 but I think something was really going on here. TL;DR - They don't accept GoodRX.

Walmart is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. They never have any medication in stock. When they tell you your medicine is ready - it's not!! I only come here because unfortunately my medicine is extremely expensive and with the GOOD RX app Walmart has the cheapest price. I even switched to this pharmacy over the Walmart from Kennedy Ave thinking it was just the store.... but NOPE... It's ALL Walmart pharmacies!! Absolutely ridiculous that their customer service is this bad. It shouldn't be a chore to pick up medication every month. In addition- when my daughter was sick, her Dr called in a ZPack for her. He was treated like a drug dealer... it took me 2 days to get the RX filled because I had to call Walmart to verify who the Dr was. Then I had to call the Dr to tell him that he needed to call Walmart and verify that he did in fact call in the Rx for my daughter. (Do you know how awkward/hard that was; like I'm sure her doctor has no other patients to worry about - not to mention he already called in this medicine for her - it should be done!!!!). However when he did graciously called them for me - he was asked several questions regarding it like a dealer...???!??? WHAT??? WHY??? She had bronchitis!!! This is what Zpack treats!!! I don't understand!!!! Not to mention this was the first time I had used Walmart since they were the cheapest.... I guess you get what you pay for!!!

Easy in and out. Nice staff and all around clean store. 😁+ 24 hour store 😁+ Supercenter with groceries 😁+ Great area with several convenience and large retail stores
