Took 45min to bring something from the locked items! You could have given me the item and I would have been out in like 10min. Not to mention another 20min in line.

As you can see, there was a lot of milk bottles under that price, well the real price was $7 something, did they honor it? Nope. Not even by showing them the picture.

The checkers get slower every time I come here and the number of customers who wait until they're in line to ask for locked up items is infuriating. Stop locking everything up, stop letting inconsiderate people complicate what should be the extremely simple and fast process of paying for my things and leaving, and fire everyone and start over with people who realize they're being paid to be there and nobody is forcing them. FFS.

Walmart, sadly, still exists. The staff are very friendly and helpful, 10 stars for all the staff, but the company As a whole leaves much to be desired and Walmart the company cares far more about its profits than the people that work hard day in and day out to make them those profits. No war but Class war!! Rise up and unionize, walmart workers, you deserve better, and together, we can demand better! ♡

Thank goodness for all of the lower level employees who work at the Wall Mart on Mall View Road in Bakersfield. It was 6:45 am. I was seated in a large aisle leading to the employee section and to what I call one's hang your coat stash hang your chips section of Walmart where the store manager would enter. And he did. But without even raising his eyes or looking towards me. For the record, I'm black, tall female, slim. Over the last forty years as a journalist, TV scriptwriter, documentary producer, secretary, and high school teacher at the Kern High School District had died. Everyone knew why. Age trumps talent and expertise. And when it comes to a job in education or entertainment in Bakersfield, even having created an alien race for a Star Trek series, what I know and my work experience and color means little compared to who I don't know and what color I am in Bakersfield. Sadly, the same can be said for all of us. Skye Dent
