Komal a month agoGreat Value Pitcher Made Worthless by Walmart's Own Decision — Poor Customer Service I purchased a Great Value Water Filter Pitcher (Model HS528N) from this store in September 2025 for $22.97. The pitcher base clearly states it is compatible with filter Model F-003. When I went to buy a replacement filter, I discovered Walmart had changed the filter design. The new filter does not fit my pitcher — water leaks from the sides. The original F-003 filter has been completely discontinued (within 9 months of my purchase) with no alternative provided. I rely on this pitcher for clean drinking water — this is a genuine health concern for me. When I visited this store on May 21, 2026 with my original receipt and the pitcher, the staff refused my return. The reason given was that I should have "tracked product updates" and returned within 90 days — even though the product worked perfectly within those 90 days. It only became unusable after Walmart quietly discontinued the compatible filter. The staff member's behavior was dismissive and unhelpful. I then spent hours calling multiple Walmart helplines, being transferred from agent to agent with no resolution. The manufacturer themselves ultimately confirmed that F-003 is permanently discontinued and unavailable. Walmart sold me a product, discontinued its only consumable within months, refused a return, and left me without access to filtered water. No solution, no accountability. I would strongly advise other customers to avoid Great Value branded pitchers and any product that depends on Walmart's own-brand consumables. @Walmart
Melvin Cauthen a month agoI visited the Walmart store in Washington, DC on Georgia Avenue, store #05968. Many items are behind glass cases with instructions to push the call button for service. After push the call button 3 times within a 10 minute period and having no one show up, I gave up. A few minutes later I saw 3 associates deep in conversation speaking in raised voices. I need help with locating a hand mirror and had to interject myself into their conversation to get assistance. Another shopper and I stood by waiting to be noticed, but it never happened. An associate did assist me with getting a mirror, but the effort that it took on my part to get her attention was unreasonable. The associates I encountered today were not at all customer focused. No casual conversations among associates should never supersede the needs of paying customers. It is enough to have to deal with having to navigate glass cases in stores, I cannot imagine how much revenue is lost due to customers not being able to retrieve items. Walmart, do better!!
M.E. L. 4 months agoMARCH 1,2026-NEW REVIEW. I order a lot of deliveries from the Super center DC, my closest location, but every time is an issue, bad shoppers, missing items, broken packages etc. Just few days ago a new thing happened... I placed the regular grocery order but they send me one little Kool-Aid pocket "separately" and it arrived by mail few days later, the envelop shows an stamp for $7.20!! What??!! That's what Walmart spent to send a tiny item, that cost only $0.42 and came all the way from Texas! what a WASTE of resources and money... ridiculous! 😧 😡 (I'm posting a photo here too) -------------------------------------------------- September 7,2025----Another bad driver/delivery from this location. I found an used tooth pick floss on the bottom of one of my bags today. Perhaps the driver was mad because l only gave $1 tip but that was the only money l have left. Seniors with no income have no options for tips...we struggle. :( June 17,2025---bad delivery, again. Missing items, zero communication with the shopper today plus horrible less bagging, heavy items on top of breads, all wet, melting ice cream etc. 2025 JAN REVIEW-- I raised 1 star because the service has improved a little at the Super center. Despite new drivers added recently are bad and don't even speak any english -true- l keep buying my rotisserie chickens there. They are great well seasoned and well cooked. I like they put the time when it was prepared on the bag of each chicken. And the size is good plus the price is great only $5.89. Kudos to the hard working Latino ladies who cook them all day long.Buen trabajo mujeres! -------- --------- ------------- REVIEW OCT 2024--Another messy delivery. I ordered online, paid the extra $10 for delivery, but the idiot shopper/deliver person dropped my rotisserie chicken on top of my paper bags and leaked all over, l have to wash everything! as ussual Walmart hired incompetetent careless drivers. ------------------- REVIEW 6/28/2024 Since we cannot add new reviews l need to add another one here. Many of us put bad reviews about things and places so they fix issues, but this time l will do a possitive one about a product from Walmart Supercenter. This is about their rotisserie chicken l just discovered (I didn't know they have them). These are great taste and Juicy chickens, well seasoned and cooked and great low price too. BUT their bottom as many others l have tried, are pale, not like the top,l guess is the type of ovens they us. I paid $5.97 for a huge one. Another excellent item is their freshly bake bread for just $1.47, and $1.00! ************************** UPDATE JUNE 2024--The produce from this store is horrible most of the time and the delivery shoppers don't care to pick better items. ---------****--------****-------- Packages often arrive damaged no matter if l have Prime account. Delivery guys are just negligent. At least l get refunds but is a hassle with Walmart...l order a lot from Georgia Av location but often my shoppers don't find items, they told me not to order from there because this location don't have a good supply of inventory that is advertised online...l have confirmed that. So frustrating !
morgan wingate 4 months agoI shop at this Walmart weekly for both personal needs and for my company, NCC, and I’ve consistently had great experiences. It’s extremely convenient to shop for food, household, medical, electronics, and clothing all in one place. While it may not be the biggest location, it’s truly a lifesaver for the DC area. The store is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Despite common misconceptions, I’ve never experienced or witnessed any safety concerns. The environment is diverse, peaceful, and well-managed, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Their curbside pickup service is excellent — ordering online and having items brought directly to my car saves so much time, especially after long days. Grocery orders and deliveries are always accurate, and staff communicates clearly about substitutions. This Walmart is extremely reliable and convenient for both my family and the clients I support. Highly recommend!
Eric Feazel a year agoI frequent the Walmart off Georgia Avenue and it’s definitely a convenient spot. The store is open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM, making it easy to run errands at almost any time. It’s got a large underground parking garage with electric vehicle chargers, which is a huge plus. The store itself is well-stocked with just about everything you need, including a large grocery section, a full-size pharmacy, electronics, home goods, and clothing. Their prices typically beat most other stores in the area for the same products. The store can be busy at all hours of the day. One feature I really love is their Scan & Go option through the Walmart app. It’s great that they have a dedicated lane for Scan & Go customers, making checking out a breeze. It really speeds up the process and is super convenient. However, there are a few drawbacks. I’ve noticed that some customers double park near the entrance on Georgia Avenue, which can make traffic a bit tricky, especially when trying to drive by. Also, there are a number of homeless individuals who often hang out near the entrance, which can make entering and exiting a bit uncomfortable at times. There is also blatant shoplifting that occurs. Some of the offenders do get caught but many of the kids just walk right on out the front door with whatever they grabbed. Overall, it’s a solid Walmart with a good selection, decent hours, and helpful technology like Scan & Go. Most of the staff are friendly, though they’re not always the most helpful. Getting in and out of the store can be challenging due to the parking situation and loitering at the entrance, but it’s still not a bad store overall.
