Walmart Neighborhood Market remains a significant source of value. While their in-store bakery items are often disappointing, the selection of boxed cake and brownie mixes is consistently very good, perfect for easy baking at home. Brownies, cookies, pudding, cakes, etc. Prices on many products, including groceries and pet food, are quite competitive, offering good savings most of the time. However, I have noticed some price increases on certain items lately, and it would be beneficial for them to focus on lowering those prices again to maintain their strong value proposition for customers.

I have always shopped at this location but the service has been terrible lately. I had more than 15 items so they didn’t let me use self check out. mind you there was no associates at the regular check out to help us. The so called managers were the main problem as they rudely told us to move to the other check out and made us wait along with three other customers as they just stood there doing nothing. Vanessa hurried back from her break to help us and she was very nice but no one even bothered to help her ring.

I'm there on a daily. I love how close it is to my house but some of the workers are extremely rude. Jim a worker is so friendly and works his butt off getting carts. I can always tell when he's got the day off cause its a wreck. The woman with a NY accent is so funny anf I love the little Asian manager there. She's always so polite and friendly. The 2 bald guys is regular clothes are awesome as well.

I shop at this store frequently as I work nearby and usually don't have much issue (though sometimes the staff is less than friendly). Today I was getting a drink from one of the refrigerators near the left side of the main self-checkout area and when the refrigerator door closed the area near the power cord shot sparks for a few solid seconds. I was noticeably distressed and the clerk manning the self checkout came over and asked what happened. He didn't seem particularly concerned when I explained it and I did see him telling another employee but the response to a fire hazard near a busy area full of customers, staff and many electronics was rather lackluster. I will be avoiding this area of the store, if I continue to shop there at all after this.

Walmart was at its best this morning, for a bag of potatoes, 40 cents differnce, this Chinese lady came over and says I chose the wrong kind, after I paid, and insisted on me paying it again. Ok I scanned it again and the machine won’t take my card. She proceeds to grab my card and tries to pay it twice and fails. I took my card, and left my paid potatoes to her. I know no one cares but Walmart has lost a customer forever, and it all thanks to that lady.
