Great sales! Ran to grab coffee and creamer and spent wayyy more. I got lots of groceries (I bought the reduced bakery items as they get eaten in my house within 24 hours) they had cheesecake for $1.80 too. Picked up a double pack of SNACKLE Boxes. These are thee absolute best for charcuterie, no wasting and sealed back up for next time or snack. The onesie women's pajamas, $20. Dont waste your time! The seams pull apart and you have giant holes. Worn 20 minutes, laying down and then it was ruined. To the people who check receipts....kindness goes a long way! Im sorry I put my $350 purchase receipt in a bag to get out of checkout area quickly for next guest. You saw me use the regular cashier and not self check out. If you don't trust cashiers, thats not my fault. I appreciate police presence. I feel like thats enough deterrence for most. If self checkout is your worry, stand over there and watch. He was rushing me for a receipt, not allowing me time to think which of the 20 bags I put it in. Also, its not appropriate or legal to touch people or their bags in their hands. If you feel like I should be checked, have the Chesapeake police officer do it. You are making me feel uncomfortable like a creepy inappropriate uncle in the family. I wish you'd fix this. It's almost EVERY time I go there. I can shop other places without being harassed on my way out, after spending at minimum 1k a month there.

We sat in the bakery waiting for almost 45 min just for someone to take our order! We then proceeded to show the lady the exact cake we wanted in the book they have, as shown in the first picture. I picked up the cake an opened the box an it was a plain green cake nothing on it no Minecraft not even happy birthday Taylen that is stamped on the printed sticker attached to the box!!! I literally walked to customer services in tears because here we are picking up my sons birthday cake on the way to his party to be highly disappointed, because nothing at all was right about our cake that we personally ordered weeks ago! But thank you to the lady at customer service who found Mr AJ who did his best to make sure my son had a Minecraft cake! He really was a hero!! But to the Bakery department, do better! After making us wait while no one even came to the counter for over 45 minutes, we clearly pointed kindergarten style to the exact cake we wanted, and clearly that wasn’t enough! Then how do you not even check before the order is to be ready because clearly the directions stamped to the box wasn’t even followed!! If you wants your cake to be done right avoid this bakery all together for anything customized.

After I got my groceries I headed to the photo department to get some prints made. I was about to give up when a nice lady helped me out. She wasn’t sure so she called her supervisor and then she worked through it on the machine. I was ready to give up but she kept going and in the end it was pretty easy. Her positive attitude and persistence got the job done. Afterwards I headed to my car, I had parked near a cart return. After I loaded my groceries in the car, I looked around and I saw cart returns everywhere. A lot of stores don’t have enough cart returns, so people leave their carts in the parking lot, this Walmart has so many that you can’t help but put it in a return. I really appreciate this little touch.

This is the best Walmart you ever want to see!!! It’s like a department store. Wide isles, super clean, friendly employees and EVERY checkout counter is lit and ready to serve. Oh and better quality items throughout! It’s like Target and Walmart got together and made it perfect!
