I moved to the Paradise Valley area just over a year ago and this is my local Walmart. I shop here frequently for convenience. My daughter (lives near Westgate) and I went to look for a back pack for my 8 yr old granddaughter recently and we're shocked that they were locked up! A $20 child's backpack!! We finally found an employee who got the bag unlocked and when my daughter offered to take it, the woman snatched it up in the air and said "no no go to 9" and started to walk away. We followed her to register 9 and asked the cashier about this and she stated "its store policy to lock them up". Not true! My granddaughter works for Walmart on the Westside, near Westgate and it is NOT policy. The backpacks there are not locked up there. And here I thought that I'd movied to a safe area. Not so sure since Walmart locks up child's backpacks but has other more expensive items unlocked. Time to switch to Target across the way. May pay a little more but worth it to not be embarrassed.

There was one specific employee I’d like to leave a review on. I was with my 6 year old son getting him a bike. When she came to help, I greeted her politely and she ignored me. I asked if they potentially had the bike unassembled, she ignored me. I asked her if she needed help after I saw her kind of struggling to get the bike off the rack, again, she ignored me. I said thank you, she ignored me and just started to take the bike to the front. After she scanned the bike, my son and I said thank you, and again, she ignored us and walked away. I understand if your employee, Adela does not speak English well, but the least she can do is greet us, and answer my questions with a simple “no thank you” or “it’s okay, I got it”. I am not asking her to be my best friend and have a whole conversation, but I would’ve liked for my son and I to have been acknowledged. Maybe certain people need training on how to properly interact with paying customers.

I’ve been calling Walmart since 10 AM and not a single department has answered the phone. Not customer service. Not electronics. Not pharmacy. Nothing. It’s honestly impressive how consistently no one picks up. I would probably get a faster response from the DMV or the IRS, and that says everything. If you’re going to list phone numbers, at least have someone actually answer them. This level of customer service is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. #supportTarget

Cactus and 47th St location - this Walmart location is consistently clean, well organized, and fully stocked, which makes shopping quick and stress-free. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help when needed. Checkout is efficient, and the store layout makes it easy to find both everyday essentials and specialty items. Prices are great, and the overall experience is reliable every time I visit. This is my go-to Walmart, and I highly recommend this location.
