This is NOT a "Super Walmart," in all honesty. They need to shut down the current location and rebuild to the right of the Home Depot, if you're facing the Home Depot. Eventually, they will be adding a Costco on that land, but there's enough land to build both. It wouldn't be that hard to convert the current Walmart into something else. The city of Vail is growing faster than they can keep up, and that's the truth.

Today at approximately 2:20 pm I wanted to see a Cologne/perfume. Asked the elderly lady working in the isle about seeing the bottle. She replied all of the products are sealed. Insinuating, I would steal something from there. Will not be spending my money with Walmart. Just needed to see the bottle’s box so I could read it due to the small print on the outside because the employee had no knowledge of the product. Needed to know if the product was for men or women. Pretty simple ask.

Overall I get the items I need, but they need to fix the card reader, I have nothing but issues with it every time also the amount of parking spaces for pickup is excessive. Add a cart corral, I had to walk almost to the end of the lane to put my cart away. Do better Walmart

Fantastic customer service by Alex 10/30/25 at the Houghton/Old Vail location! I witnessed Alex being very kind and patient with an elderly couple and friendly & professional with another guy. Alex was extremely helpful to me and I appreciate his willingness to help!!! Thanks Alex for fantastic customer service!

Gave them a week to fill a prescription for my son's ADHD medication now they don't know when they will get it in. They think tomorrow. DO NOT rely on this pharmacy for medication they will not call you and tell you or even have another Walmart fill it for you. They tell you to call your doctor and have them send it over to another Walmart maybe they'll help you. Walmart as a whole you expect the nonsense but the pharmacy you'd think with degrees they could give you a courtesy call to let you know they don't have the medicine you need luckily it's not diabetes medicine. Manager cares less he'll talk to upper management though
