Elizabeth Aerusmith 4 weeks agoI'm only giving the Walmart on E Main 3 stars because of the check-out situation. I understand the reasoning behind why the self checkout is no longer open, but I had to wait 30 minutes in line to check out on Saturday, 20 minutes today. Last week on Wednesday at 10 in the morning, 43 minutes. There has GOT to be something more that can be done in order to make shopping easier on us consumers. I am a patient person. I refuse to be rude to staff in the store, because it isn't their fault or anything, and I have seen on several other occasions how other customer's behaviors have been very disrespectful and uncouth in a situation that is totally not at the fault of the cashier working at the moment. If you're not going to have the self checkout open due to one too many "scan a few, bag a few" situations, then why can't you hire enough people to open EVERY checkout line during high-volume shopping times? Sometimes people really do want to get in, shop, and get home. This is the closest Walmart to my house that I can even shop at. The concept of being able to just stop and grab a couple things, that quick in-and-out shop, is unrealistic if you are stopping at this Walmart on E Main. Please Walmart, do something to help make this easier for us.
Helena-Marie Tompkins 5 months agoAbsolutely horrible customer service. Debra “Mudd” thinks everything a joke and is very rude with an attitude like she knows it all. People like this should NOT work in customer service. She yelled “hello” multiple times to several customers waiting in line because she fails at communication skills. She said the cash mashing went down and wouldn’t be able to help anyone. One guy in the line said he had to load a card and the lady told him to go to customer service to help him and that the rest of us couldn’t be helped. So I and a few others in line also walked over to customer service and the same lady at money services went to customer service and said “this guy is here to put money on a card. I don’t know what she wants but you can ask her” so I asked them if I could pick up money and the lady from money services cut her off and told me I already told you the cash machine was down. I replied you didn’t tell me anything. You just told that man to come over here. You didn’t even ask me what I needed when I was at money services.” If you put two and two together that you can help someone else with money over there why wouldn’t you go over there? She told that other man he could. She never told me I couldn’t get money. And how can you tell people they can’t help you if you don’t even know what they need help with? Especially when you told another person they could go over there for money related issues? The supervisor I talked to tried explaining it as if I should know this stuff but I don’t work there? I don’t control those machines? You can’t say the cash machine is down and then direct someone else over to customer service to do a money related transaction then straight up lie to them saying you told them they couldn’t pick up cash when that wasn’t true. Some people just don’t belong in customer service.
Jaylon Smith 4 months agoI had a great experience. I live on the other side of the city but traveled here because it was the only place that had the food item I was looking for, and while I was there I did a bit more shopping and found items that I usually purchase at Kroger, was actually cheaper in Walmart which was better for me because I’m unemployed at the moment so it worked within my budget better. I even traveled back to the same Walmart the very next day in order to store some items in my pantry that I got for a better price there.
Travionne Martin 2 months agoMisleading Pricing, Policy Deception & Complete Management Failure — Walmart #3447 East Main Street Columbus Ohio Case number 260413-000339 Employees: Howard Manager Sholanda Cashier Melissa Wyne Store Director On April 12, 2026, what should have been a routine trip to purchase detergent turned into a deeply frustrating experience that exposed a serious breakdown in customer service, management integrity, and corporate accountability. Upon noticing a price discrepancy at the shelf, I calmly brought it to the attention of store personnel — a standard, reasonable action any consumer would take. Rather than simply honoring the displayed price, the situation was escalated unnecessarily. The manager on duty, Howard, proceeded to cite store policy in a way that I later confirmed with Walmart's corporate office was factually inaccurate. To put it plainly: I was misled by a member of store management. I filed a formal complaint through the appropriate channels. The Store Director did respond — but impersonally, with what felt like a form response that failed to address the substance of my concern. When I replied requesting the price difference I was rightfully owed, I received no response at all. Complete silence. What is most disappointing is not the original pricing error — mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the chain of failures that followed: a manager misrepresenting policy, a director responding dismissively, and then going completely silent when asked to make it right. Now I am forced to invest my own time and energy to hold a billion-dollar corporation accountable for a simple overcharge and an apology they have yet to offer. Walmart, customers deserve accurate pricing, honest communication from your management staff, and the basic respect of a follow-up. This experience delivered none of those things. I will be pursuing this matter further through Walmart's corporate office and the Better Business Bureau until it is properly resolved.
joe 4 weeks agoOPEN MORE REGISTERS! it’s a Sunday at 11 and there are 5 registers with lines going all through the clothes section. I called and the operator said management was aware but nothing happened. I waited 15 minutes and I was still in the clothes section. Do better!
