This Walmart location does a great job keeping up with seasonal changes. The employees clearly work hard to keep the shelves stocked with items that match the time of year, making it easy to find what you need. If something isn’t available in-store, many items can also be ordered online for convenient delivery or shipping. As far as Walmart stores go, this one is very nice. The greeters are friendly, and the employees are generally helpful when you need assistance. The store is also cleaner than many others, which makes shopping here more enjoyable. The only downside is that the checkout lines can get very busy in the middle of the day, so it’s best to visit early if you’re in a hurry.

I have never experienced such a complete lack of support for a simple photo transaction. Today, I ordered an 8x10 print of my mother. I was told it would take an hour, but nearly two hours later, there was still no print. The three young associates working had no idea what was going on. When I asked for a supervisor, I had to wait another 15 minutes for one to appear. I live just two and a half blocks from this South Milwaukee store and valued the convenience of walking here. Moving forward, I will gladly drive to a competitor for my photos and all my other shopping needs. This isn't the first time this has happened, and I am done dealing with it.

This store is currently being really poorly managed. They aren't keeping enough people staffed. The result is you will either have zero carts, no baskets, and/or wait in line forever because they only keep 1 lane open, even during incredibly busy hours such as Sundays, Friday evenings, after work, etc. Additionally, their stock is really poor, and the produce they do have in is really low quality. This store will likely soon go the same direction as the south mke pick n save if they don't start managing it properly.

Walmart South Milwaukee is my Wally World. Ricky the Greeter makes you feel right at home when he welcomes you as you enter the store, and gives blessings when you leave. Cindi, America, and Sara (mgr) all ensure every purchase was a joy and if there is anything you need just ask. Angie and Customer Service staff is friendly and moves the lines fast. Overall, this is my Walmart aka Wally World with corner store convenience.

Hardly any workers in sight so when it was time to check out the line was wrapped around the clothes aisle. The cashiers were nice but they looked tired and overworked. They definitely need to hire more evening staff. This store is kind of cluttered to me
