I went to the Brown Deer store at 8:15 PM on Monday to do the return and exchange. After in the line for couple of minutes, the clerk told me that she just finished up the customer in front of her and ready to close. I would not be able to return anything due to customer service department is closed at 8:00 PM. I asked where is the sign posted? She replied it posted on website. I was not happy and requested to see a manager. She answered that she is a manager. I told her this is a very unacceptable custmer service, how can you refused a customer has already in line and close. When she made a mistake on her transaction, she blamed on me to make her messed up and requested a key from other supervisor. I don't think she is a manger after all. But she finally spend a minute to process my return. Thanks. When I got home and seached the store hour of the Brown Deer store, there is no such a thing showing the customer service department closed at 8:00 PM. "Customer service is the priority of all the retail business". There should always have someone to be there to take care of customer's needs, how can customer service department closed before store closed in the retail? Any employee with some trainning or authorize key should be able to cover for the postion when it is slow instead of totally closed.

Avoid this Walmart at all costs. Shopping in store has always been a struggle so I’d do pick up which was fine up until our last 2 orders. Placed an order for pick up that included a charger that I needed. Got home and saw they marked it as shopped and put into my vehicle but it was not there. Head back to the store and go to customer service and she sends me to the pick up department. Spoke to 3 other employees until I finally got to the pick up dept. I spoke to someone there and I told him the situation and he told me I had to go over to TECH and get the item myself. I said no-this was a pick up order that was supposed to be included in my curbside order that you guys did not give me. I ordered other things besides the charger. He again explained I could go over to tech, find the item, go to customer service, and they would fix my order so I wasn’t charged twice. I go all the way to tech and find my item then go back to customer service. The 2 ladies that helped me were the nicest employees I’ve interacted at this location. They said that’s not how the do things and they weren’t sure why they told me to do that but they assisted me and apologized for having to go thru all of this and they’ve had problems with their pick up dept lately. So grateful for them! I give it some time and place another pick up order for a few items we needed. A few things needed to be substituted-fine. It gets ready early so I ask my husband to go and he follows the steps. He was in the parking spot for over 30 mins until someone finally came out. He tried to call and I tried to call and no success. I’d avoid this Walmart if you can-but ESPECIALLY the pick up dept. You can never reach someone there and it’s not worth the hassle.

Advertised phone on sale said in stock. Display cards in place of phones. But no phone in stock ...2nd associates had no idea and didnt care to check- if I could pay advertised price and have it shipped when really in stock. Couldn't complain because walmart customer service is AI and no help. Bought phone different store.

This location has went down hill so badly. Every time me and my boyfriend come by to look for something the employees are always trying to avoid you, doing the bare minimum, or just staring at you like you didn't ask for them for help. This place was nice and resourceful before. But now nobody wants to do their job just like the people in the East Capitol location.

The store itself is fine. I’ve never had any issues going there and everyone is nice. That being said - the pick up could be something to be desired and it’s not the fault of the workers. Today I waited almost an hour in pick up for my groceries, way past the time I was supposed to pick up, and it wasn’t the fault of the poor kid who was hustling so hard today to make sure all the cars got their groceries. Management needs to make sure there are more people working pick up, because this kid looked exhausted and stressed. Props to him though. There were some angry customers there and I felt super bad for him.
