Awful pickup experience AND delivery with grocery items from this store, all in one day. So many of the products were spoiled or expired! All the frozen items were not fully frozen which is a major food safety issue. I opened a bag of peanut butter filled pretzels and almost threw up when I put one in my mouth. I spit it out but still feel really sick and the bag of pretzels smelled absolutely horrible. I checked and it expired November 2025! They also gave me room temperature muffins that they clearly sold in the bakery, when the item is meant to be frozen and is not safe to eat if not at least refrigerated. God knows how long they were on the shelf at room temp! On top of all this, they are making me come to the store to return all these spoiled food products that they sold me, in order for me to get a “refund”, which they will only do with my original payment method, which is a benefits card that expires today. So the funds would be useless. All around awful experience with this store and this company.

The to overall score and recent reviews are disjointed. This place sucks. It's crowded with tight aisles with employees that don't care. The parking lot is a mess. They have a terrible assortment of goods. I never find what I'm looking for. Also good luck finding an employee to unlock the personal care item you need. It's a joke. Just read the laundry list of 1 star reviews recently. I don't know what the alternative store would be in the area, but this place is terrible.

1 Star – This Store Needs Serious Improvement To whom it may concern, I’m writing to bring attention to a serious issue at the Walmart in Forest Park regarding how products are being stocked throughout the store—this includes not only the refrigerated and frozen sections but also dry goods like canned foods, bottled items, and everything else on the regular shelves. Today, April 7, 2025, I noticed once again that the employees responsible for restocking do not rotate the products. Instead of placing the older items in the front and the newer ones in the back—as proper stocking procedures require—they simply put the new items on top or in front of the old ones. This happens across the board: in the freezers, coolers, and even on the dry goods shelves. Cans, bottles, boxes—everything is just stacked without care for expiration dates. This practice makes it extremely easy for me as a shopper to grab the newest items with the best expiration dates, which is convenient for me personally. I never have to dig to find fresh products because the newest ones are always right in front. But that convenience comes at a cost. Because of this poor stocking habit, I’ve seen a lot of expired food and goods left sitting behind or underneath, going to waste. That expired inventory ends up being thrown out, and I believe Walmart is losing significant money because of it. This isn’t just about laziness—it shows a lack of proper management and supervision in the store. Even worse, because of this kind of neglect, I—as a consumer—end up paying more. Walmart has to raise prices to recover the losses from expired products that never sold. So while I might enjoy finding the freshest items easily, the company’s failure to enforce basic inventory rotation ends up hurting all of us in the long run. I truly hope Walmart Corporate looks into this issue and holds the store management accountable. Proper training and oversight are badly needed at this location to reduce waste, ensure food safety, and maintain fair pricing for loyal customers. Sincerely, A concerned and observant customer

I got a oil change a week ago and don’t have any oil in my motor. This doesn’t make any sense and also my oil change took 11 minutes. I will be up there Brighton early tomorrow. They should not hire people that doesn’t want to work and mess up people cars this doesn’t make any sense. I called 10 times today barely spoke to someone and I am very upset. I took this picture on 5/14/2026 I had the oil change on 5/07/2026 …. as many cars as I had I never known for an oil change to take 11 minutes. I’m so thankful that Walmart text you when they start on your vehicle and when your vehicle is ready, I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow as well because this is so unfair that people that work in the auto department, you cannot even trust them with your vehicle that get you back-and-forth to work to take care of your family.

Walmart Supercenter in Forest Park, IL is a convenient place for everyday shopping, with a wide range of groceries, household items, clothing, and essentials all under one roof. The store is spacious and usually has plenty of options to choose from. It can get busy at times, but it’s a handy stop for quick errands or a full weekly shop.
