This location is a convenient one-stop shop that reliably has almost everything on my list, from groceries to household essentials. The store is massive and well-stocked, and I appreciate that I can grab electronics, automotive supplies, and fresh produce all in a single trip. While it can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, the self-checkout area is usually efficient enough to keep the lines moving at a decent pace. The prices are consistently some of the best around, which makes it a practical choice for stocking up on daily necessities. It’s a dependable, no-frills option for getting a lot of shopping done quickly and affordably.

Great shoppers, but management lacks a clear bad-weather protocol I want to start by giving a huge thank you to the employees who shopped and bagged my order. The initial service was excellent—everything was packed perfectly, and I genuinely appreciate the hard work that goes into preparing the orders. The breakdown happened entirely with communication and management's safety protocol during bad weather. I received a phone call from the area manager explaining that due to the severe weather, they couldn't bring the items to my car to prevent damage to the goods (and obviously, though unsaid, for employee safety). I completely understand protecting the staff and items. However, when I asked what the alternative process was, the manager didn't seem to know. I asked if I should come inside to the pickup doors, and she told me that would be fine. When I arrived at the pickup doors in the heavy rain, it took the staff a moment to even acknowledge I was standing there. When the area manager finally opened the door, she informed me that regular carts can't actually go out of the pickup doors because the wheels lock up as an anti-theft measure. She then told me we had to go around to the Automotive area instead. Now, to be clear, the grocery pickup area and the Automotive area are right next to each other at this location. However, it is still a massive lack of oversight and planning to make a customer get out of their vehicle in a heavy rainstorm to come to one door, just to be told they have to walk over to the next set of doors to actually get their items. This should have been properly communicated during the initial phone call. To make matters worse, in the 3 to 5 minutes it took for me to finally get my order through the Automotive doors, I watched the employees start bringing items out to other customers' cars anyway. The Bottom Line: The frontline shoppers are doing a great job. However, management needs to establish a clear, proactive contingency plan for severe weather. Indiana is known for unpredictable weather, and the team should already have a seamless, consistent protocol in place instead of making it up on the fly and contradicting their own rules at the customer's expense.

The makeup section is locked behind glass, so I got behind someone else in line waiting on an associate. Someone came over, turned off the button, and left. I hit the button again. A girl came over, and I told her what I needed. She started to help me when the same associate sprinted over, grabbed her, and said "We can't help them," and turned off the button and left. I hit the button again. The line is now several people long. An older associate asks if we're being helped. I tell them "I don't know. They keep turning off the button and leaving." She says she'll go find a manager. Two minutes later she comes back and says "I just remembered we don't have a manager..." I hit the button again. A rep comes over, turns it off, glares at us, and walks away. I say words that google will probably block my review if I type them out, and walk out after 30 minutes. I was not the first person in line. Thanks, Walmart. Your "anti-theft" cases and stupid employees prevented several sales just in the time I was there.
